Got my air bag kit so I can put the batteries and amps in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

But with 4 alts and 6 batts voltages holds 14v+
Or with 4 alts and 30 batts voltage holds 14v+

So why would you want and extra 24batts hauling around for nothing?
I don't see 4 alts/6 batts staying above 14v with 3 7ks wired at .35 unless imp rise is insane. Burban I did has 4 390's and 14 xs power batts for 4 CF 8ks.......drops bad....so added 12 banks of caps but haven't been able to test it yet since he's waiting on new subs...

Got my airbags installed and loaded the batteries up! Worked until it got dark outside, so I'll hopefully finish everything up tomorrow. Here's what's left to do for now:

1. Finish connecting batteries

2. Seal some small holes in the wall with caulk

3. Wire subs each in parallel to a pair of 8 gauge OFC wires

4. Mount 2x4's for amps across batteries

5. Add more side bracing to battery rack

6. Install amps

7. Add port length and slightly decrease port area

8. Plug relays back in

Then one of my friends wants to re-do my door pods for me

i was about to say, idr you doing any work with suspension before lol but the airbags dont have any load or anything you literally just bolt them in and clamp to the springs huh?

**** ***** on my truck, every time i want to drop the axle from the leaf springs i have to pull my tires off and drop my entire axle before my lift is tall enough to reach the truck lol

Yeah, I would definitely recommend airbags to people.

Only difficult thing was that I had to drill new holes in the bracket so it would line up.

Everything went on too easy at first. Went to bolt my wheels back on and the tires rubbed on the bags!! My tires are 3" wider than stock and I just have the stock rims that aren't ofset. I had to modify the bracket, then added 1/4" wheel spacers to give a little extra clearance for peace of mind.

Since I've got torsion keys in the front and bags in the back, I can adjust my ride height on the front and back to get it to sit how I like

i got my aftermarket rims with some offset for $400 shipped to my door but theyre 16s... and i have 35s lol

if that spacer isnt the lug centric kind you might want to consider changing it out for the long term. they shatter..

Then something must have been wrong. I have two 350a alts and 4 g3100 on two crossfire 8ks and I stay 12v+ all day. Once I added these two more alts I won't have any voltage drop at all. I'm wired at .5ohm each amp.

All the batteries are in and hooked up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I like the duct tape for extra support!

Seriously though what is that for on those couple terminals lol?

Looks good for sure. Still looks like you even have a little room left in your bed?

Those were on the positive terminals near the last ground connection.

I hooked all the positives up first, then all the grounds and that was the final connection that tied all the grounds together. Didn't want the other end of the wire hitting any nearby positive terminals

That makes sense. Good deal.

How much space do you have left in your bed?

Roughly 14 inches between the bank and the tailgate //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Enough room for me to store my small air compressor

math says somethings wrong. 700 amp @ 14.4 volts.. 16 kw @ 100% efficiency equals 1112 amps..

Impedance rise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Could be 5+ ohms even if wired to .5 nominal

Also, he charges at 15.0v

So yeah.....

Yea music. Rise.. Ohm load fluctuates when playing music... I'm not just burping a tone for 30mins... I'm playing music.
