Added nitrous to my car.

I'd still rather have a muscle car. And you can get those for what, 4 grand with 400 hp or more.
That's fine, but a honda with 400whp VS a muscle car with 400whp? The muscle car would get it's *** handed to him badly lol. Power to weight ratio is a nice advantage we hondas have.

You have to find the ones that were locked in garages or are still owned by little old ladies...

story...our next door neighbor restores old cars. He was recently at a show talking with one of his buddies. His friend had found a car out in the country (pasco county if any FL boys read this), in an oldddd run down shed next to an even more run down house. He thought he saw a car inside so he walked up and noticed the doors where chained shut so he went to the front door of the house and asked what was in the garage. Lady told him it was some POS chevy that she wanted to get rid of. So he walked out with her, curious and lo and behold...it was a '53 Corvette alll beat to hell from the elements. He offered her $30k and came back the next day and trailerd it home...He sold it at a barret-jackson car auction for $1.8mil...and retired the next day...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

But the muscle car would win in a head to head crash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

(btw is that u in the avatar?)

Haha you know nothing about hondas, tuning, or fuel systems do you? Dude you know that you can't lower boost with a boost controller right? Haha seriously just stop talking. Go here if you want to learn something... http://www.evans-tuning.com
a dawes device, or mechanical boost controller can't limit your boost with a pressure activated wastegate, of course, but there are also vacuum controlled wastegate actuators, which use a dawes device or mechanical boost controller to limit boost spikes, creeps, and overall maximum boost, rather than raising it.

No that's Farva from Super Troopers in my avatar lol...
Check this out, a guy I work with got this when his grandpa passed away...

That would be sweet with some muscle under the hood. It's got crazy low miles on it!
Man I would love to own that car, beauty. Lol on the avatar, I was gonna say if u was u I hope u get slapped in the face.

Haha what the hell are you guys talking about? You guys realize I can drive around all day and never boost my car right? Meaning it won't **** much more gas than it normally would N/A when tuned well. It sounds like you guys have an idea, but seriously know what your talking about before you make misinformed comments lol.
I am running the a chipped p28 ECU and using Uberdata to tune it. You can change fuel maps, ignition maps, rev limits, vtec, etc... anything you want basically. I am running 450cc DSM injectors, so in boost they provide plenty of fuel (up to about 300whp at the stock fuel pressue), yet when in vaccum (normal driving and not boosting) they get great gas mileage when tuned well with a wideband o2 sensor. The stock compression in my car is 9.2:1, which if you knew anything about hondas is perfect for boost. Most high horsepower 500+ whp hondas you see are running 9:1 to 10:1 compression. The fuel system? Umm larger injectors, let's say about 900cc and a Walbro can support 500whp with the stock fuel lines and stock fpr. Tune them well and you will get GREAT fuel economy out of boost.
running 6 psi or whatever on a d block and running a bar plus on a h,b, or k is another.

Who the hell would want to waste money on a 500hp honda?
What a stupid statement, obviously if you could understand anything I have said you would know. They get good gas mileage, they are easy and fairly cheap to make fast, and they are very reliable. Put a stock GSR in a hatchback with a decent turbo kit and you have an 11 second 300whp reliable honda for not a lot of money.
So since I proved all you guys wrong, let's get back on topic and make fun of the guy that put nitrous on his saturn!
How is that a stupid statment? Unless you're running that in an S2K, why would you want that much power in a Honda? or any other FWD car for that matter. Thats why SRT-4's are amazing. Because what can they do? go in a straight line quickly? WHO CARES? Those cars are worthless on an actuall track. I'd take a 250hp s2k with suspension work over a 400, 600, or 1000hp fwd honda or whathave you ANYDAY.

Thats unless you're one of those jaggofs that do nothing but cruise a few streets all night and race eachother weaving through traffic. Annoy drivers of real cars on the high way. And think going in a straight line means shit.

In that case, kill yourself.

no idea hat you said, but X2

What the hell is a dawes device and what the hell does anything you just said have to do with what I said or this thread? Nothing! You guys should just stop commenting because you know nothing about hondas and what people have done with them.

Muscle Cars AND Compacts FTW

The Hardest choice I could imagine myself ever having to make in my life would be between having a fully restored '69 Camaro or a '96 Skyline GT-R.

it is an srt-4 LOL. pictures dont do the car justice. It has full srt-4 suspension, discs, and built axles, turbo back exhaust, and a few other goodies.

Your a mustang guy, and pretty much hate anything without an 8 cylinder, so your opinion doesnt count anyways.
i happen to own two 4 cyl cars, and prefer them over my stang 10:1

The srt is gay because A) its got that hidious *** wing and body kit which does nothing but weigh it down and ruin the aerodynamics

B) srt4's are trash, can't handle, can only go straight

C) srt4 owners think they actually have fast cars because they can dust vettes on the highway (when they're tuned right).... they dont realize why that means nothing. im not going to get into it here... or i should say, right this moment

hell, Joel (vetkilr) gets 600 to the wheels and 20-25 on the highway when he sets it up for trips from what he says. A properly built motor can stand up to the gas prices for the most part.
im happy for him.

um.... so, a REAL sports car, with half that horsepower can blow by that piece of shit honda on a road course any day of the week with a good driver. NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT QUARTER TIMES. anyone can get a decent hook with a little practice. and anything can be made to go fast down a straight line.
