Hey guys,

New sub is ready for pre-order. I know some of you have been following it, but for those that haven't here you go:

If I was ordering a sub right now... This would be it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm curious what your critical eye has to say about it Dylan. Please do tell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Well it has great bang for the buck and fits in a small box... I'm a fan of SQ and for only a few bucks more than the Dayton RS subs it has a nice set of t/s and features...

Namely:

*Custom machined aluminum ring and thick pole sleeve for ultra low driver inductance and inductance related distortion.*

Sewn-in tinsel leads prevents dreaded “tinsel lead slap” noise.

Ventilation beneath the spider and through the large pole vent maximizes voice coil cooling.

At $220 I'm not as huge a fan, but at $150... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif Kinda like the reason I picked up my Avalanche 15" for $225... If this was a 15" I'd even be tempted to pick one up to mess with, even considering there are projects of our own in the works... My ava ultimately would provide more output down low given my IB install and 800 watts of power than a 15” version utilizing the same motor. In terms of my persional priorities though I like the motor and liberal use of short paths on this thing. Considering I never fully push my ava to the max and I have no need to show the ava off... Well you get the picture...

PS -- what are the dimensions on those short paths and is that pole sleeve copper? Just curious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so how much power does this sub need? i see thermal is rated at 1000w but would 600w be sufficient?
Yes.

I believe Nyugen said he threw it on a little as 300 watts and it sounded great.

Great sub here folks. Great guy too!

These will **** your precious Type R's.
