A litte info u should know about Nathan Peddicord...Owner of Excessive Amperage

i know how to install a alt but the reason i pay to have the ford dealer do it is to keep my 100,000 mile warenty if i were to do it my self " which i can" by by warenty and besides i have a FORD so i need a warenty

i had extedned warrenty put onto my civic when i purchased it for up to 80,000 miles. i went ahead and did it myself and voided the warrenty cause i didn't give a hoot. i wasn't going to go to an authorized dealership 200miles away, wait 2-3hrs and pay them 300 bucks + gas when i can do the work myself. for the same amount of time and a few beers.

though i guess it would be a good reason to keep the warrenty for your ford. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

so i got a question? if the problem is the regulators in those same style alts goin all the time or being doa out the box, why would ya keep using ones from that same case and keep building more with them? thats just asking for problems.....

i don't think he uses specific regulators. i think depending on alt he would buy a new alt(specified for your vehicle), open it, rewound the copper, re assemble it, and ship it. so w/e regulator is in there is the one that would coem with the alt. as for the custom 300amp case ones i don't know about them.

this is all just a guess so don't take my word.

i have a 180 amp alt for an xterra that is perfect i fried it due to user error and he fixed it up your story is sucky but i dont need another HO alt for my new car so im not worried about it

Not a bad product for someone who runs his company out of a shed........................... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
