A litte info u should know about Nathan Peddicord...Owner of Excessive Amperage

well read the rest of my post; I mentioned other factors as well, however not operating out of a shop is not a good sign (to say the least).
ah.. the idiocy of the youth. i would venture this "shed" has everything he needs to properly build an alt (actually.. maybe not, as it seems the alts ****) however, it SHOULD. if him working out of a "shed" keeps the cost down to YOU, the consumer, why would you care? oh, thats right you wouldnt (provided of course the alts worked worth a ****) do you HONESTLY think if the guy rented shop space he would build a better alt?

And to add to that I believe a rather large computer company started out in a garage, so "shop" has NO bearing on the success of a company or quality of their product....

My EA alt is going strong after 2 years and Nate was fine to deal with. I'll buy an EA for my next vehicle.

you have a great point. like i said have someone build the alt locally that way shipping dont kill u. and u can ***** to the place to take it off and put it on ur better that way

the guy gave me "an infraction" on ROE and told me he didn't take threats kindly.....
he obviously doesn't believe in sarcasm....

i dunno if its just cause i had a few drinks but, i say for anyone who doesnt care what happens on that forum go on there and piss him off hes just askin for it....

altho ,again it may just be the alcohol talkin...lol....

they all **** unless they are honest . i have mine built local. BTW learn to work on cars MOB, what kinda man are you, cant change an alt. unless u own a ferrari or something sophisticated then ill understand it but cmon A FORD!

The guy from EA seems like he went to a far length to try to help you out. Im guessing there was a bad batch or the installed was doing something wrong but seriously, you cant install your own alt?

I found it funny how you draw a conclusion that I am young based upon what I wrote.

I do care what the shop looks like as it is a indication of how serious the man is about what he does. I would not invest in a business that does not invest in itself.

You said why would you care what is shop looked like, well as this thread proves it is a SAFER bet going with someone who isn't a "professional" shade tree mechanic.

Would you take your kids to a surgeon if he didn't work in a hospitable, but worked out of his garage... which was a mess, where he was wearing a t-shirt and jeans and performed operations in the back yard...of course not.

NOW I KNOW THIS A BIT EXTREME, however you didn't seem to get the point so I hope this underlines it for you.

Perhaps my view point is wrong and immature, yet I'm not the one w/ my c@ck in my had, a under preforming alt and a lighter billfold, so it would appear that my childish view is working quite well for me.
