A few questions.

Hello, I'm currently putting together a new system for a 1992 Toyota Corolla. I have already purchased a 12" Alpine Type R Sub, I plan On getting a Alpine PDX-1.600 600W Amp to power it with. For a HU I'm getting a Alpine CDE-9881.

My main questions are this.

I was recommended 4" Focal speakers for the front of my car. I haven't been able to find much info on Focal, Is this a good brand? If not, What is recommended?

I have been researching sub boxes, and from what I can tell, Ported boxes are best for the Type-R's. I'm also trying to match the Cubic inches needed for the sub, But on most sites its not listed? Also, Are Q-Logic Boxes any good?

I was told that I would have to beef up the electrical system in the Toyota as it would not be strong enough to power a better radio system, True?

Thanks for the help, I've been trying to answer my own questions, But couldn't find the answers to these.

Focal makes amazing speakers, so hope that answers that

Sub boxes, go ported, and q-logic boxes ****, so dont get that. Someone on here should be able to help you design a good box for the R

Your electrical system should be fine

Alright man Focal's are good speakers , for the box q logic boxes **** there no good at all . have some one on here design you some plans or just make you box for that type r. and as your electrical system you shouldn't have to but either run 4 awg or 0 awg up to you which ever.
