i just picked up a memphis 16-MCD500 from egay for 140.oo shipped. is that too much for this amp. i here its better than a jl 500/1....and doesn't need alot of power from electrical system.

going to be running 2 12w3v2 at 2ohm

I think they are better than JL...plus compact and efficient...sounds like a good price especially if its clean and you got the remote bass knob with it...

I paid $108 for a Memphis 16-MCA3004 4X75 rms amp new in box. Guy had like 10 of them and most went for $200 or so but got mine lucky cheap. Is perfect and currently in my car as I just put it in the other day.
