A few questions about subwoofers and amp options...

Ok so in the end it would be 300 watts (maybe) to each? I am not a troll I am simply trying to see which options are best for me. If you arent going to help you dont have to be here.

the two SVC Pioneer subs and the 6x9's that I have right now with the Pla4278 hits pretty good fr what they are worth. No im shaking the ground two blocks away and I understand to do that you have to spend money. Thats not what I am trying to do right now. So sorry if I sound like a troll or newbie. Im here for help not necessarily for people to tell me I have s#!t equipment.

I am working my way up to that. If I could I would.

So under poweing a subwoofer will damage it? I also have access to a Pioneer GM-A5602 2 channel amp. Specs are...

Max Power: 300W x 2 (4 ohms), 450W x 2 (2 ohms), 900W x 1 (4 ohms bridged)

Would this be better suited for either pair of SVC and DVC?

If you state max power one more time I'm going to jump across this keyboard and punch you with max power. If you are not going to listen nobody on here is going to help you. Our patiance only goes so far.

Ask yourself if speakers get damaged when you dont listen to full volume? Wouldnt that be underpowering?

Dude then what do you want me to say? I am simply copying and pasting what the website says. No I dont see how they would get damaged if you dont listen to them full power. Would this amp be a better fit though for either par of subs?

Simple, NEVER EVER LOOK any any amp that focuses on max power EVER again. If it has max power in the title, YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE WORST AMPS POSSIBLE. boss, crunch, power accoustik, lanzar(non opti), pyle, pyramid, autotek, performance technique, ssl etc..

anything that sounds too **** good to be true, ITS A FKING SCAM! NON of these well bring you happiness. Just **** and vinegar.

The lowest i'd go would be PPI black ice series, hifonics brutus series, belva, RE audio, MB quart onyx, audiopipe. These are the budget tier amps that are still miles better then the list I put out in the above paragraph.

You NEED A MONOBLOCK for subs pure and simple. Stop looking at 4 channel and 2 channel amps, totally the wrong class of amps to use for subwoofers.

Ok I get what you all are saying, I have to ask though why do the ****** products get great reviews?
Because it's all they have ever used or experienced and don't know any better. They think it is good because in most cases they have not had anything of true quality

They are reviewing if they burn up their subs. They review if they are durable and if the subs hit hard or not
They think that is hitting. They dont know anybetter. And most reviews will talk about how the amp is so strong it burnt up some kickers. A clipped 100 watt amp will smoke a good 1000 watt sub.

Just a bunch of teenage kids that just got their first system and they are glad they have something that works. Then come the exaggerators saying THESE PYLES BROKE MY WINDSHIELD and YOU CAN HEAR ME 5 MILES AWAY.

These amps make a little power but its dirty power. What that means is after a certain amount of watts, you only get clipping and distortion which is the main killer of subs. It gives an illusion of the sub being louder but its just a sub going into an early grave. I'd advise you to look up some clamp tests and amp dyno tests and read about clipping and distortion. Google is your friend on that lol.

You'd want clean power if you want to avoid blowing anything in your system. Getting a low end sub amp is like getting a full Monty from a fat STD ridden prostit*te with crabs, crawfish and lobsters all over her crotch vs a proper amp = clean chick that practices safe s*x free of disease.

good evening guys.just a quick question.which amp would you choose?JL audio XD 600/1 or ARC audio KS 1000.1.i know the ARC has much more power but lets pretend it has 600W like the JL.not based on power but just based on quality, and any other factors that would make you go one way or another.also JL slash series 300/2 1v or ARC KS 300.2?thanks for your time and your opinions.
