I am trying to isolate the sub on my 9887 to do some tweaking/adjusting. Any ideas on the 9887 and how to get that done?

I am trying to isolate the sub on my 9887 to do some tweaking/adjusting. Any ideas on the 9887 and how to get that done?

Configure the sub for "System 2," IIRC. That'll keep the bass at constant volume and allow you to turn down the front to a minimal level. Check your manual for the specifics.

Or you could just unhook the RCAs to your amps for your speakers?
