Are you spraying automotive paint? What type of gun? HVLP?

Duplicolor Flame Red CC in a can. Car and SUV paint. 4 or 5 heavy coats, then wetsand and polish. I used some on my car's bumper and it matches almost perfectly (it was a little off, but the car has 176k on it, so I was surprised it was as close as it was.)

I have a gun, but no place to use it.

OK. Box is done.

I finished polishing it this morning. There are a couple spots that I'm not super happy with, but unless your face is less than a foot away, you can't see them. Besides, since I use my trunk, I imagine it'll get scratched anyhow, so I'll see how it holds up and fix it at a later date.

Painted the recess black.

Bolted into car.

Stuck the grille on w/o the trim to see how I liked it.

I like it, but I can always take the trim off later. I used double sided tape and pressure to hold it on so it doesn't damage the face of the box.

Trim ring on:

Sub in, allen head bolts used.

In, and DONE!

I'm gonna throw my amp in so I have tunes for this weekend. Our car club is having a "Color Tour" on Saturday and I'd like to have some bass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have Kicker 1/0 Hyperflex wire, but I'll probably rip it out for Knu because I can get it in red.

After that I start on the doors.
