To bring everyone up to date and to give a little education to those wanting to go Zapco. It took a bit of time to dial in the DC Ref 650.6 only to find out (through a sh|t load of troubleshooting) the Imprint module was shorting out, the CDA-117 was not responding to its own internal processor, the sirus module was faulty, and the iPod interface was also faulty. I was p1ssed, in a serious way. I called alpine and they gave me a laundry list of RMA numbers. After getting most all of the stuff back I have decided (and I will post pics of the install) I am going to sell off the CDA-117, sirus, BT as a package deal and put the Imprint Module and tuning mic kit on here for sale.

I am buying a DVA-7996 this week and having it shipped in from Cali. If anyone out there knows anything about SQ head units, they have heard of the unit. I opted out of the 7" monitor as it adds unwanted noise and I really do not need video in the car. I will more than likely put the PXA-H701 setup in that second din opening where there is a pocket now. The famous CHA-S634 will get tucked under a seat or hidden in the rear. Again if anyone knows SQ they are familiar with the potential of the combo.

That is an update!! I will be rewrapping the kicks as the vinyl was a shade off. Let me look through my pics and see if I have any new ones my chance.

Soon to be purchased (funds willing) a Zapco DC Ref 1100.1 for the Ultimo 10" 2ohm sub.

School has been SUUUUPER demanding as I am in a radiography and medical imaging program that fills my schedule with clinical hours. Thanks for keeping on this thread. Motivating.

Looking for suggestions on how the heck imma fit two of those amps in that wheel well. No suggestion is dumb, i really need another brain in this. Identical size amps. I will stack, but would rather angle them. Inverting, no matter. Just wanna fit them in there so I can make a mold of this setup and get the rack to the paint booth.

Thanks to David here I have some fresh Ixos wire on the way. Going to eliminate the passive crossovers and go fully active from the Zapcos. Thanks Dave!!

Yep, I failed. Sorry guys, we has our first last June and the car got put on hold for a bit while were were raising the boy up right.

I switched things up a bit. Sold off the zapco amps and went a different route. Sorry for leaving you guys hanging. Here is an update:

Sold off the old Alpine and picked up a 9965 and H701 with the RUX:
