That sealed box is huuuuge. More efficient than a compact one I guess. Impressive subs from CV for sure.p

Yeah the sealed chambers are 1.68 cubes each before sub displacement, after sub displacement each chamber should be roughly 1.5 cubes. The box will be externally ported and tuned to around 32. Should be able to cap off the ports and use the enclosure both sealed or ported. So far on minimal power everything seems to be low and loud.

Are the subs already broken in? If not, go easy on them or they will deconscripulate.
No way those 4" ports (12.56in2) are sufficient. On his power... even 2ohm? I advocate for 2x the port area but if using external Pvc watch for those plumbers problems like >150hz resonance that resonates <150hz. Make it solid.
Its a real thing with long external Pvc ports in my exp.

Yes the ports are external. Will not be chipping away at internal volume. Calibrating the amp should not allow any frequencies lower than 26 and above 80.

With the car running and the starting battery paralleled to the Energie 2400 power cell voltage does not dip below 14. I can tell the amp wants to power the subs well beyond the rated power. I am still tweaking things with the amp to find the happy medium between music and heavy bass tracks. It's hard to tell, but I would shoot my shot at peak output seems to be between 31 and 36 Hertz. Tried running everything without the LPF switch which limits things to 25 Hertz, and definitely smelled a little heat. I backed things down and will test again with the LPF switch on. Never did the subs bottom out and definitely think that the amplifier played a big part in that with the quality components built in. As things stand Right now, I think on a meter the setup would come in around the 145 to 147 mark around 35 hz. Very impressed overall, as in comparison to my last setup which was two DC audio level 4 XL m2s on a DC 5K. Yes I still think the DC 5K was louder but not by much, since it was literally twice the power. Definitely think the XTR 2500 at 1 ohm would be incredibly loud and match or supersede what I thought at the time was the loudest system I ever had. Keep in mind this is a dirty signal from the factory HU with a kicker LOC which has performed phenomenally
