8ohms and 2ohm probs

Good day people.....I would like to know why my sub plays differently when I connect it to 8ohms after it played at 2ohms?......it was played in at 8ohms for a couple of weeks before I dropped it to 2ohms...now I want to reconnect it at 8ohms again but its not the same....when its connected at 8ohms its on a 4channel 1500w starsound amp class AB amp 2ohm stable....and when connected at 2ohms it plays off a 2100w monoblock starsound ......its 2 different amps....but after playing it off the mono at 2ohms,its like it dropped its efficiency a bit more....btw its a kicker 10cvr124
