I have the option of running both but completely torn as to what to do.

Option 1) audison bit one & run the new BIT TUNE

Option 2) Deh-99prs & use its built in DSP/EQ

Option 3) audison bit one & optical capable headunit + bit tune

I realize the Bit One may have better a better DSP and EQ tuning options but the deh-99prs Should sound amazing out the box?

What would you do as far as performance quality of sound go.

Geez.

Umm... there's really no reason to choose the 99 over an outboard processor unless you either NEED all the control in the dash or WANT all the control in the dash.

I will say that it is an amazing deck and it's freakin sweet as shit to be able to tune with the remote. No laptop or wires or any damn thing. But then again... I'm lazy.

You've got a good point. I guess I want to run the 99 just because its am amazing deck but don't want to give up the outboard processor

I'd keep both but that would just be a waste/overkill

I'm hoping after a proper tuning session with the new "bit tune" won't leave me regretting not running my 99

Is this really about the processing capabilities or is it about what you have in the dash to look at every time you drive? I would go with the bit one if you're tuning it at an Audison shop with the bit Tune. Don't use a 99PRS as your source with the bit one. That's just a waste of a head unit that someone else could put to full use. I realize a cheaper head unit doesn't have that high end look and feel to it, nor does it have all the expensive components inside, but put the priority on the end result of great sound.

I think if you got an awesome source unit like an older dead head alpine, clarion, or denon. That the Audison combo would be awesome indeed!
