8/10/12" SQ sub on 250-300rms?

I forgot a friend of mine did an install in a 2002 Silverado crew cab and he had the captain seats in the rear. I can't find a pic of the truck w/the seats in, but here's one w/them out.

He did have to modify the mounts to get the seats in there. How I can't remember.

If you are considering purchasing used, I have a pair of Oz Audio Matrix 300L 12" woofers for sale. Excellent sq and similar to the earlier IDQ. They are rated for 250 watts each.

Na, Im looking for a company that is still in business in case I need anything from them.

So any input as to if the single ported 12 might be my best bet? Or is 4 8s or 2 10s sealed would still be the way to go?

Look for something that has less then 5" mounting depth for behind the seats in a CC. After the wood, there's not a whole lot of room back there. My brother and I built him a rear center console just so he'd have enough room for the sub he had.

He bought a TREO TSX10.xx and it was still too deep at 5 1/8" to fit behind the seat. Click the link in m y sig and check out the one titled "Sierra-ously". Mine is "No Limits".

I don't know that 8"s will fit back there, at least not the 8W7. There's only 6 1/4" of space from the back wall to the back of the seat at the bottom and a 8W7 is as deep as it is wide.

Then you also have to make sure there's no rub from the back of the seat on the subs surround.

It's a crew cab/quad cab, there's even less room under the rear seat then behind it. I know all 3 types of this truck like the back of my hand. Std cab, ext cab and crew cab.
