id say it prob plays about 30-80hz +12-18db

you said you custom ordered the 1in high den fiberboard what is pricing on that kinda stock? and where would i go 'orlando,fl' area to find the same stuff?

btw: looks killer imagine if the box was all 1in plexi and the seams where gluede in a way no screws where needed would be so cool to look at //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks all for the kind words, and man after a day of bumpin it I can say it really does what its supposed to, it flexes my roofline of the cab on top like an inch up and down, and knocks stuff out of my center console on some songs and I did not even put the 45's in it yet or try the PVC on the port inlets! all I can say is 80...YOU DA MAN! here is what I used for the gasket, just push it tightly into the corners so it seals good and clean the dust off the edges before you stick it down. I am going to try it laying down for the hell of it and also with the ports up, right now its got the ports to the driver side but its kind of tight against the door, like 4-5 inches, it will likely sound best ports up I think. As for the board, I got it at H.D. and it sells for about 50 bucks with tax in CA so give or take that much....Thanks again!

I am not too sure but it actually plays music really well, I like a lot of different stuff, Korn, Tool, Rap/Hip-Hop, etc, it even plays AC/DC good! Gives it bass I never thought it had LOL! Reall pretty flat response to the ear...

Well, here is a crappy vid, I finally got it to where I can actually turn it up a bit but it now is popping the 100A breaker I had to throw it in but I just ordered a 300 for the amp, anyway here it is only turned up to 20 or so out of 50 volume...

I still don't understand how the ports will be in phase with one another. I'm not hating or anything, just confused.

i definately agree with you.

i would think firing both ports on the same axis would yeild next to no phase delay, which i could see invoking loads of cancellation..

You would have to ask 80 about that detail stuff, but I know one thing, for a single 15 it really sounds good! EASILY as loud as a friends single death penalty 18 was on 2600 watts in an SUV!
