DJ, honestly I could give a shit less what they think about me doing that, Ive restored it to original already and I want to liven it up a bit. The majority of the work done on the car is by me and it was in no where near the shape it is in. I'm changing my OWN work on my OWN car. They have no say in it. period. I know its in great condition, I got it there.

Your right it is your car you do what you want. Its just that in your previous post you said you wanted to keep the car original. So im confused?

if you bought it for so cheap then sell it at full price to some idiot on craigslist.

Then buy yourself some Pioneer Rev 6x9's and some 6.5's off ebay for about 190 shipped, and then get something that's budget (like the Kenwood Excelon X590 or the Pioneer 590IB) off ebay for like 100. 290 buddy thats pretty dang good.

If you wanted you could find a good 4 channel on here for not that much, then add the wires. With mounting hardware, your looking at 400 bucks.

If the MSRP of the crap you own (no offence, but it is crap) is that much, sell it on craigslist for a little more because some idiot will buy it.

You make cash, get a better system, and don't get flamed anymore. Everyone is happy.

Something like the Kenwood EZ series the EZ500 for example would make a nice stereo...I think they go for around $125 on ebay...They resemble an older classic style radio in their design...I have one in my Miata and it is a very nice stereo for the money....

I just got through with a 64 1/2 myself. Sunshine yellow. The car actually didn't sell that well, but I am in a fairly rural area of TN, so I guess people around here didn't want to spend the money on it...

Oh, it had the original 170 6 cylinder and *****. in it, so your car actually has more go to it than it did... LOL, it didn't matter if you had it to the floor or were just barely using the gas it accelerated the same.

GISM youre the one being a dick, I was just defending myself. Since the OVERWHELMING opinions of the products being crappy I have started selling the products as soon as they arrive at my doorstep. I have purchased 4 TS-W251R's, to replace the 12's, they probably werent going to fit anyway, and a polk audio db 6500 component system. The rest is going to have to stay for now, up next will be polk 6x9s and a optima yellow top to replace the old battery

I thought for sure this would be a bs thread...I guess since you posted pics we have to believe you...yeah I feel your wasting your time installing that stuff, by the time you get it to where your happy with it it's going to be broken...not trying to flame but wasted enough time and money myself to know better...good luck.
