Hello everyone........ I am about to finish off my audio on my 61 impala ragtop Here is what I am working with.....

-2 - 10TW3 JL audio subs

-Audison AV5.1k amp - front stage and sub

-Alpine MRV T320 amp - rear fill

-Audison AV 6.5 mids

-Audison AV 1.1 tweets

-Rockford Fosgate #.5 coaxials for rear fill

-Knukonceptz wiring 1/0g from batt to dist, 4awg to audition 5.1k, 8awg to alpine amp, 16 awg Kord speaker wire for front and rear stage, 10 awg Kord wire for subs

-Stinger 6000 series Interconnects

-Stinger SHD820 and SHD20 distribution for power and ground

-Pioneer AVH-P6600dvd

-custom made down firing box (still building)

Audison / Connecton fused positive battery terminal BBC 41PF

I will post pics as the build continues. I am just relocating my air ride to accommodate. I am also upholstering my entire trunk to complete this build. I may be a slow build but it will happen!!

Sorry for your loss, Thats actually why I picked a 61, My dad who I lost had a 4 door '61. I just upgraded the model a little lol. Thx for the compliments.

It was originally a 283 car but I put a 550hp/580tq 383ci SBC stroker in it.

Just a little update, now that I have got my Air ride all moved and back in tomorrow I will start wiring the power, interconnects, speaker wire, remote wire and wiring for the Audison VCRA (sub volume). After that I will build the box and amp rack. Pics to come as I progress.......
