500rms sq sub?

Currently in my GF car she has 2 jl w3v2 powered by a jl 500/1 amp. there is no draw on here alt at all with this setup which is perfect as she isnt into doing any real electrical upgrades. now some one is offering her $200 for her 2 w3v2 and she is thinking of taking it to get a better sounding sub. (she still wants to be able to get semi loud but sq is most important) the only thing is she would like to keep the jl 500/1 so what options do we have here?

probably a 12 or 2 12

not a ton of airspace to work with. (still wants a good amount of cargo space) probably around 3 cubes to work with.

maybe one of the new 05 type r's? the do 500 rms but dunno who sells them yet. i have the 04 type r's and they have very good sq but i dont know how they would compare with the w3's. also i think she can get a little more for those 2 jl's. how big are they and how old?

they are 12s. and about 4-5 months old. although the person who is wanting to buy them has been using them way more than she has. kinda long storey but hey i got some time so heres what happened.

my gf used to have a dodge neon with the jls in it. about a month after she got they system she sold it to one of my friends. and just left the system in there untill she got here new car and was ready to put it in there. however she told my friend that she just wanted the subs and amp and he could keep the box. so my friend sells the box. to this guy we work with. and he asks if he can use the subs untill shes ready for em. she agrees. now we just got the subs back because she want me to build her a box and hook it all up. but they guy who had the jls last realyl liked them and wants to buy them when he gets his tax return. i cant remember exactly how much i got em from ebay for (NIB) but they guy is offering $200 for em and she keeps asking me what she should do and if she can get something better than the jls for that price, so i told her id come on here and check out what her options are.

which would you prefer off of that power the sound splitter or the adire subs. (theres a killer deal on some adire subs in the classified)
