I noticed a huge change in road noise just doing my floor. My doors do make drivers sound cleaner.

Deadener doesn't stop rattles or flex though. Just vibration.

this would never happen, these companies would loose too much money once debunked. if it were maybe a 50k or 500k instead of a 5k challenge you might see some interest from these companies to fight this challenge.

His test results wouldn't mean shit in the first place. His methodology is very flawed as there are too many variables left uncontrolled by his conditions (frequency played, vehicle used, items inside, etc..). I could easily build a system that would dominate his tests with or without sound deadener.

I don't think he realizes that his test results can neither confirm or deny his claims.

I did not really understand the test -- the goal was to be outside and test for rattles?? If that is the case then the differences in the cars themsleves would be a huge factor. Plus, that really is not the main reason I use deadener since I really don't have a problem with rattles in the first place.

Admittedly I just skimmed.
