4 12ek sealed vs 2 12se ported

when will the new k's be released? but lets say i won't be competing, which would be more efficient for street bass. i mostly listen 2 rap and r&b. my power will be 2 lanzar 1200d amps. if i go with 2 subs they will be ported and if i go wit the 4 they will be sealed. not working with alot of room. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

If your just doing a daily driver setup Im a firm believer in 2 subs, 3 when using 10's. If its a daily bump system 4 is overkill unless your looking to have a dick contest with your friends.

I'd get 2 15's in the biggest ported enclosure that you could fit. Tune around 30-35Hz. Not sure on port length, but I have seen people use a port plug that would give it good SQ for daily driving and then in comps you can take out the plug to extend the port size for better bass. I think you should do 4 K's sealed, give each ~500 watts and it'll get loud and sound great.

If its done right with proper electrical you can do anything you want.

i think the 2 15 se is probably a good choice. i got to ten inch se in a ported box with abou 4 cubes for each sub and they get pretty loud. with the 15s you should be able to put up some good numbers if you install it right. if you never done an install before get someone to help you.
