2ohm vs 1ohm load

Mostly a difference in the price of the amp and whether the amp can make enough power. Hard to find a RELIABLE, WELL BUILT "inexpensive" 2 ohm amp that's going to make 2000 + RMS. Relatively easy to find the same in a 1 ohm.

 
It's not the kind of question someone needs to ask.

It's like purchasing a vehicle and asking if to be used for racing, which paint color offers the least weight on the vehicle..

There are variables but going in that direction is not to be concerned about.

Speaking of car analogies... I guess I'm asking if the difference is like a turbo 6 vs a supercharged 6, or are they the same turbo 6? By the responses, sounds like the same turbo 6.

 
They are the same in every way.

However, you could possibly measure differences but this is the same comparing 1ohm vs 1ohm because this topic would more than likely be comparing brand a to brand b.
