im about buy two L7 solobaric 15's and was wondering should i get the 4ohm version or 2 ohm version because im running them on a pioneer 5000spl amp thats only 2hm stable?

get the dual 2ohms'.

If your amp is 2 ohm stable, then buy the 2 ohm subs (assuming they are dual voice coil). That way you can wire both subs to a 2 ohm total load. By using 4 ohm dual voice coil subs, you would only be able to achieve a 1 ohm or 4 ohm total load.

with 2 dual you can go .5, 2 and 4 i belive correct me if wrong

The L7s voicecoil options are either dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm, right?

2 dual 4 ohm subs can be wired to 4 ohm or 1 ohm

2 dual 2 ohm subs can be wired to .5 ohm or 2 ohm

If you want the most power out of you amp and its only stable to 2 ohms then get 2 dual 2 ohm L7s.

Yes, for a 2 ohm stable amp, you definately want two of the 2 ohm DVC subs.
