2nd vehicle options

Alright with tax money I plan on grabbing a second vehicle. My wife uses our '08 to take my daughter to school every day so its not exactly efficient to drive me to work, drive home for a few hours, take my daughter to school, come back home for a few hours, picker her up, then pick me up. So Im looking for a second vehicle.

I will be using it as a daily driver mostly on highways to go to work and school. I plan on spending around $3000-$3500 for a vehicle. If I spend $3000 the $500 will go into preventative maintenance right away (oil changes, spark plugs, etc.).

I would prefer something with 4wd, but doesnt need to be. If its not 4wd Id prefer something that is small with good gas mileage (ie: Honda Civic, Integra, older Eclipse, etc). Brand doesnt really matter. I would prefer to stay away from Dodge.

Looking for new car/SUV

$3000-$3500 to spend

4wd preferred

Recommend away

subaru for the awd and great gas mileage. but i guess one thing you didnt say was, how new or old are you wanting to keep it. i know some people want to keep it 2000+ but others dont care as long as its clean and reliable
Dont care as long as its clean, reliable, and doesnt have 200,790,000 miles.

i would say subaru would be your best bet. you can find hondas/acuras but most of the time the previous owners have beat them to shit. it took me about 2 months to find the honda i wanted (picky bastard i am) because all the ones i had looked at were exactly what you said. 200k+ and not clean at all.

i would go honda accord moreso than civic cause there is more room for your daughter. as in my previous experience with my integra it wasnt comfortable with my daughter in the car.

toyota celicas are fun little cars with great gas mileage etc.

honda accords are very reliable, corrollas too.

99 accords ive wanted very much so.

subaru svx if you can find one.. may be the ticket.

i loved my 99 accord. wish i had a svx those are fun little cars.
svxs have always been a car i want, but not easy to find, and when i do, im poor.

OP, look into 3000gt, dodge stealth (3000gt just rebranded), mr2, s2000, preludes, silvia, lexus sc300 (rare too as heck(

sc300s arent that rare bro lol. i wouldnt advise the mr2 or an s2k cause you wont find one in the price range usually. same goes for the lude and silvia (240sx)

This^

AWD in winter = nice

Edit*

copart.com might have something, they have some minor damage salvaged cars, seized stolen cars, ect. ect.

May be able to find an older 240... but that doesnt sound like what your looking for other than good gas mileage. Finding one that isnt beat to **** or destroyed by some ricer is not easy.

I got lucky. I got a 95 240 with 13k miles on it. All original.. just hit 20k miles yesterday. :]
