he knows his stuff I guess you should probably just try tweaking the gains the seat placement and stuff like that next time you meter it

it is quite a craftsman and audiophile.. yeah, i guess it wouldnt hurt, i just slapped in a bass tone and played in incriments from 40-55hz and layed the front seat all the way back.. didnt fool any with the amp gains and had my hu sub on -10 as well as all setting except front-rear speaker adjustments.. i also developed a ground loop hum right after i metered.. i gotta fix that

slide your seat all the way forward that will be better than all the way back, and yeah tweak your settings it can make a world of difference

If buying the CVX's gives you enough money to get the AQ amp or a MTX TA 7801 that does 1200@1ohm, then that would be a good plan. IF you can afford the SD2.5 then they are a high quality sub and you will have made a good decision.

The DD 9515 is an insane deal, by far the loudest option on clean power.

I am on the verge of ordering the 2 Kicker CVR's which are under $250 shipped.. The deal with the DD 9515 did not work out because right now I do not have the money to afford an amp that will sufficiently power it. I am pretty sure that I will be ordering the 2 Kickers and a Hifonics Brutus BXi 1606D for around $500 for everything.. How will that setup sound? And will the hifonics amp actually hit the rms wattage it says it will?
