Anyone ever run an MT sealed?

Well I tried and tried to get it ported but it's just not happening in the space I have. I have an 18" MT and have to run it sealed in about 4 to 4 1/2 c/ft box. The box will be double layered all the way around and powered off a Kicker ZX2500.1. Anyone have experience running an MT sealed, will it sound decent? I was only looking to hit about a 145 daily and was hoping this still will be possible sealed. Any info? Thanks

it wasn't the most comfortable ride, but it was well worth it...

the ONLY instance that sub should be sealed is in a 4th order bandpass, even then, it needs to be custom built to do so.

DO NOT run that sealed.

The ford ranger was my old car. I have an 06 suzuki grand vitara now but the difficult thing isn't so much the airspace but the angles. There's a lot of notches and angles that I need so I can fit all of my amps another battery and still be under the level of the rear cover so no one can seen anything inside.

yeah, recone it to a 15...

better to have a smaller sub sound great in the right enclosure than a larger sub sound like shit in too small an enclosure...

I did a search and someone (don't remember the name) said there was a competitor doing a 150 with an mt 18 in a sealed box but the post was from about 2 years ago or something.
