What about a brace from front to rear?

hes going to double baffle it.. which means hes going to have to cut his port and shit aswell.

I decided to place the sub on the front and double baffle it. I have another section of 1¼" dowel left so I may add some more bracing from top to bottom, think I need it?...

That was just a test 45 with a cordless saw, think i should make it bigger or smaller?

looks good how it is, i just see that other people do this too and was wondering why they dont put them in all the corners

foil some PVC, stick it against the corner,clay the edges where it meets on the outside of the pvc/wood joint, and pour in resin. rounded corners >45*

or you could just angle the box and pour resin in all the corners, thats how i just did my last box and it turned out pretty good, but didnt notice a difference with or without the resin

X2 I use the concrete mold tubes and just hack out sections to get the rounds.

Actually, you don't want to use that much resin in one spot. When you pour on resin that thick, it tends to crack over time, especially in a corner.

Thanks for all the info on how to make resin corners, but I think I'll stick with the mdf 45.

I was planing on painting the port today, but the weather is really crappy!

It was nice a sunny this afternoon, then this happened...

Either I've got a really bad case of dandruff or it was hailing outisde...

I did manage to primer (2) pcs of the port before the weather turned to hell...

Actually, you don't want to use that much resin in one spot. When you pour on resin that thick, it tends to crack over time, especially in a corner.

true that. you can always mix the resin with a little saw dust to give the resin a little filler. it doesn't weaken the mix, it makes it denser and you end up using less resin that way.

btw: what camera are you using? because you take the best pictures i have seen on the forum so far. lol
