which one do u think is better? I had L7's (and really liked them) but im thinkin of testin out some new subs, which in this case would be some type R's or any other suggestions would be nice.

please dont suggest fi's, mags, or DD's, if i had the money i would get some of those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

The Fi SSD 15 new is roughly the same price as the alpine type r 15 unless your buying used, so I dont know why you said dont suggest because of the price, anyways the type r will never be the L7, but its not a bad choice either for testing...I would choose the L7 anyday, but you said you wanted to try somthing different, so whats the main purpose of your thread?

Wth? were these the older models? I hear of people running like 500watts rms over what there rated for and every thing I have read says there super tuff

I've owned several L7's and NEVER had a problem with any of them. L7's dont "blow easily" if you know what you're doing. L7 > ARRRRRGGGhhh

there both good subs. the type R doesnt handle the power as well but i did manange to get the R louder on a mic then the CVX. Either way in a good box, it should wang.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
