IDQ-10 or JL 8w7 HELP

Alright Ive narrowed it down to these subs. Im either going with 1- 8w7 or an IDQ 10. Or possible 2 IDQ 10's depending on the responses I get. I auditioned the 8w7 and like it alot, its really smooth sounding and controlled. However, theres no one in my area who sell ID's. What would you guys recommend based on you experience. Ive read the way people rave about teh idq's, but how do they stack up to the 8w7 overall. Im looking to run them in a sealed enclosure as I need trunk space for work. Please help Thanks

8W7's are known for their output and sound quality... IDQ's are known for their sound quality, but not their output. I'd say thr IDQ will have the edge on sound quality and the Dub7 will have the edge with output.

I would agree. it may be close in the spl dept though with the 10 having more cone area. 2 10's would most certainly be louder. 8w7 is one hell of a woofer though.
