15 "Apline Type R's vs. 15" Kicker L7's

You should probably trust the members who have been around longer over the dumbasses bad-mouthing either of these subs. Both are great subs with good price tags.

I would personally go with the L7 simply because with optimal enclosure and power, output will be slightly more than the Type R...but you can't lose either way

Oh yea, and definitely don't listen to anything bcleech says //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

haha ill remember that..but i want to buy one or the other before the end of this week...so as long as i really find out ill be set...im just so confused on which to go for

If you do your research as to how much power to send and what kind of enclosure to build you will be pleased with either setup so just go with whichever you can find for the cheapest...

i have a hook up on these and wont pay more then 250 on each one...but i will also be giving them 1000rms

Well from experience, I know L7s will work well in small ported enclosures with tons of power, done it and seen it done in person hell if you want talk to team kicker....I would say either the R or the L7 done proper you wont be upset either route you travel, if your lookin for total SQ I would lean toward the FI Q, but to each their own

which one do u think is better? I had L7's (and really liked them) but im thinkin of testin out some new subs, which in this case would be some type R's or any other suggestions would be nice.
please dont suggest fi's, mags, or DD's, if i had the money i would get some of those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
What Amp or Amps is going to run these?

You going 1ohm 2ohm 3ohm 4ohm.

Ported, Bandpass, Reflex, or Sealed?

You going for max SPL or you like SQL?

You like cranking on that Volume for long periods?
