good subs, sound great and get loud... but why? they cost quite a bit....if you're looking in that price range why not try audioque hd3 or fi btl? i mean... from what i understand, you like huge bass...

i'd go wit the Rs. the L7 15s dont seem as stable as the L7 12s. the R15 is juss a whole diff sub. a beast. it will handle the power and it will wang. i'd go for the R15.

both good subs, i say go with which ever u find cheaper

that was for? im juss sayin. the 15 isnt as good of a woofer as the L712. maybe diff on teh 06 models but far as the old ones. juss 2 much cone for the design. i loved my L7 12s. its really a toss up. the L7 would require a bigger box that the R would. it comes down 2, if u want a square sub or a round 1, lol and if u wanna give up the extra space for the box

im going to port them both and there really is no budget..and as for box size i havent quite figured it out..i was thinking about 2.6cuft to about 4.0cuft...and i get get each for about 200 dollars
