14 year old girl arrested for texting during class

the teachers wouldn't be affecting the home life of the student if the student would just follow the rules.
its the students fault, she broke the rules, got warned, broke them again, and got punished for it. what's so hard to understand about that?
the teacher could have ignored it. What would the effect on the other students been? Probably nothing.

The cop should have shot her.

That is EXACTLY what teachers do. Don't forget, they are the ones that teach most of the skills you need in life. A lot of students see their teachers most than they see theiri own parents. Teachers play a HUGE role in the student's and family's lives. Who gives a shit about the recession? If the parents did a better job at home maybe the kid wouldn't have been an *** at school and they wouldn't have to pay for a ticket.
thats a negative effect there buddy. So teachers are governing the parents and making them pay, right. Might as well give them a gun and a badge too.

I said the teacher caused the distraction. Administration could just suspend her and that would be that, without even causing any type of problem. This was all based on me saying if they were there....which they werent. Your argument was going nowhere as soon as you started.
She was suspended...after the arrest. Which was caused by her actions not the actual texting. The teacher didn't say "Hey cops! Come arrest this ***** for using her anytime minutes during my class." She lied about having the phone and had to be searched. The teacher did nothing wrong. The ***** should have listened to her. She didn't so the teacher had to move to higher authorities

Its a negative effect caused by the parents. They should spend more time with their kids and make sure they prepare them to handle themselves in the real world. If the parents won't do it then someone has to.

You are all over the place, your anger is getting the best of you, and reducing you to nonsensical blabbering. Im not even sure its worth responding to you.

However, I will say this again, if the teacher would have ignored it.....what would have happened?

Did you read the article? The parents reaction?

The negative effect was caused by the teacher....or flip says its the tax payers' fault

All she did was cost the parents more money. So now teachers are supposed to be affecting the home life of the students and their families? If you havent forgotten, there is a recession going on.
maybe the recession is caused by too many dumbasses not getting an education, but instead texting when they should be learning. Then they go out into the workforce or maybe not even able to join the workforce since they are so dumb, leading to a higher unemployment rate, which sure would affect a lot of people.

Texting in class = hi-tech note passing. If note passing wasn't allowed before why would the hi-tech version be allowed today?

the negative effect was caused by the student breaking the rules and then lying to the officer which delayed the other students from learning even longer.

and you said the teacher could've ignored it... when that student fails, it will make the teacher look bad as if the teacher isn't teacher the students in his/her class. It's just like how stupid people on ca.com make the whole forum seem stupid.
