12inch sub doesnt seem to hit higher bass lines?

I understand subs are suppose to be used for the low bass but my 12inch just doesnt seem to be hitting the higher bass lines any idea's

We can't help you with the limited info you provided. You have to tell us your setup, crossover freq's, etc. Even the type of music you are listening to when you notice this lack of upper bass will help too.

its probably your amp settings. what is your box tuned to also?
