12 " Sub recommendation - $100ish, sealed, 1.0Cu. Ft. powered by 300WRms @ 4ohm

Been out of car audio for quite a few years, and usually had big ported boxes. Now my tastes have changed and I want something tight, punchy and clean on a budget. I'm not asking for mirracles, just something decent that repalces the one that isn't there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Want something that will work well in a 1-1.25 Cu ft. sealed prefab box. Will be in back of a Pontiac Vibe. I like 60s & 70s Rock, Funk, Top 40, Alternative, 80s, etc. Available power is 300wRms at 4ohm (bridge A/B amp).

Please don't try to sell me your gear, I will not buy a used sub. While I understand the potential savings, it's just not an option. I was thinking of an Infinity Reference 1260 or Alpine Type-S

I'm pretty sure the DCs do cause the level 3s can.

I'm really liking the looks of the DCON and CDT. They both seem like the would fit the bill, however from a purely aesthetic standpoint, the DCON is "prettier".

Unfortunately, especially going sealed, would be underpowered some.

I had a v-max about 7 yrs ago and loved it, but wasn't sure if Vega's stuff, or specifically that line was any good anymore.
