10" Sub Suggestion

i have an idea. get a turbo kit from greddy (i believe) and listen to the turbo instead! :thumbsup
Haha, you got the 7+k for me to get one =)? I'll run out right away if i had the money to get one. I'll probably wait for my warranty to expire though before I get the TT or SC for my car.

ROFL! as my girlfriend sits on my lap and laughs real hard =)

she was in my car looking at somthing when i took the picture, that is her hand =)

now if only somone could tell me if a dual 4ohm voice coil could be used at 2ohm (re 10") i would be happy =P

I'm still learning, but I think a 4ohm voice coil being used at 2ohms is OK, but using it at a higher impedence than it's rated is bad. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

so a dual4 @ 2ohm is good?

alright. well how would i go about wiring this up so it acutally IS 2ohm? i have a 4\2 ohm amp... 157 classD mono @ 4ohm, and 350 @ 2....

its a monoblock so it only has one channel.

how would i wire this up? just + to + and - to -? or do i have to do somthing tricky to get it at 2 ohm?

also, do you think i should get a second battery if im running that much power?

im sure i need a capacitor, i havnt got one of those yet because i just got a new alternator and i am only running 175w atm.

any tips? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif

If I buy an amp that puts out 750 or 800 watts am I going to have to turn the gain all the way up to get that potential? If i have to do that will i run into any problems? Thanks.

No leave the gain down the speaker will sound good even with only 300 watts. You don't want to clip your signal to get more bass.
