10" sub..Sensitivity vs power handling vs weight

BTW, I see no reason, looking at the specs, why the G2 can't take the same power as the G3 (other than smaller value fuses). Do the G2's run 36 gauge tinsel leads or something?

@ 400 watts, both the G2 and G3 are virtual clones of each other in response and cone displacement. (neither one getting near X max in my particular enclosure)

Clean install. Well then I guess this is null for a couple more weeks until you get on the track again. If time doesn't suffer, then you can leave it and be good. If it does, back to the drawing board?
Well, the time line on the verdict may get moved out now. Changed my oil yesterday and discovered this...

Pulled the control arm off of each side and will call some vendors tomorrow to see who has what, and at what price. If I can get the replacement bushings pressed and the arms installed during the week, great. If not, no test and tune for two months. (We are hosting the Florida State Championship in November. The test and tune track will be something of a "warm up" for the mile long competition course.)

Grrrrr. A fair amount of work and money for stuff that doesn't make the car or driver any faster. Oh well. Comes with the territory.

PITA, but the new bushings are on! -Don't think I'll be able to get my alignment checked before the event this weekend (pretty sure my toe is off a bit), but she's otherwise ready for testing.

Need to focus on driving this weekend, then it's back to upgrading the sound system.

I was actually a tad faster today. Probably had more to do with the new bushings than the box, but the box didn't hurt my times, so it stays.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Haha

The points event today went very well. The new bushings didn't make the car any faster, but it seems they did make it a little easier to be precise on the edge.

I'm really happy that my little audio upgrade didn't hurt the car's on-track performance, but I need pretty much all the remaining cargo space. The timing equipment takes up everything behind the chassis cross-bar and the space on the sides of the amp work great for my helmet and cooler.

The next test, is more power. I want to see how the W3v2 holds up.
