10" almani sub VS Orion 2500D question

Hey guys I wanna blow this little sub that sitting in my garage.

It's a 10" Almani 400 watt sub and I wanna blow the shit out of it but I'm wondering would my amp clip or get damaged in any way after I blow the sub ?

Or. NO nothing will happen to the amp once the little sub blows ?

It depends on what happens. If you blow the surround out of the sub, or break the coil loose from the spider, either way I would think there is always a risk of ending up with a dead-short instead of a 4 ohm or 2 ohm voicecoil.

Your amp may shutdown for a dead short, but I wouldn't try it with a 2500d. Expensive to repair if you blow it up driving into a dead short.
