0 gauge fuse question

the only thing that REALLY matters is that the fuse protects the wire.

for 1/0 you can go as large as 300A.

But personally - I only use a fuse large enough to supply the amp, even though the wire could handle a lot more. It just increases your factor of safety, and having an unnecessarily giant fuse does nothing for the performance of your amp.

If it's a decent amp your manual should give you a maximum current draw. I would recommend a fuse close to that size.
