0-600 and SB 1 or 2 CRX build

Your post didn't turn out very good Supa... I think this is the video you were trying to show: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I've done some work, but not much... I was in the hospital one day, by the time I recovered from that I started having major tooth pain and I'm just now recovering from loosing it. I'll get some pics up later tonight or tomorrow. The box is done, but not in the car yet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I put a little resin on the inside and outside of the box. I smoothed out the inside a lot (I've got more to do), and the outside a little. I then painted the box flat black.

I then inserted my ports. They are 8" ID schedule 80 PVC. I cut them to length, then rounded over the ends. They were glued in with industrial strength liquid nail, topped with titebond, then I added a little more resin to the inside up to the ports... This batch was a really hot mix so it didn't turn out too great (Nothing a little sanding and waxing won't fix)

I managed to do 154.4 @ 63hz Outlaw (I compete USACi), 150.8 sealed on the glass, and 151.8 driver's door open on the glass.

I got a little side tracked building a port reducer for a friend's box. He has 4x DD3512s powered by 2x DDM3s:

After playing with his stereo for awhile, I burped a 154.2:

(Sorry about the pathetic photography...) Then my fun came to a quick halt...

I'm done for the day... to be continued.

I tried removing the deadener over the holes on the side panels and lost about .4 db. I re-covered them and got it back. Now all I have is ~10 SPL tiles so I'm going to have to be real careful where I put them to maximize any gains.

I'm also getting my windows tinted next week and making it so they'll roll up and down better. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

booo popo *****....yeah i just did a sb1 run and did a 144.5 with a 3.5cuft box tuned to 36hz. next show will be a 2.3-2.5cuft box at 50hz....hopefully will get louder:crap:

any more work done to it?

All I did this week is get the windows repaired (neither would roll down), inside door handles replaced (much easier to get out without outside help now), and get the windows tinted (which makes the car look much better):

Today I went and dropped off a couple of D5s to what looks like it's going to be a loud trunk car (USACi 0-1000 trunk):

This is my favorite way to setup trunk cars... subs and ports forward:

I'm going to do a little more work on the doors before I button up the door panels tomorrow.

Deff a beautiful constructed sub. The best thing about as well, they do perform very well too and have excellent C.Service and even Tech service...

DJ subs are designed for efficiency, car audio subs are designed for low end in a small space. So above ~50hz the DJ sub will kill a car audio...
