I think they are definitely a sandwiched kevlar/foam/carbon but definitely not Focal. I used to rep Focal 30 years ago and have used many of their drivers over the years, they have never used terminals or a motor like that, not that I recall.Man I have been searching like crazy! I thought it was perhaps an older Focal Access judging by the basket but that was a no. Got a little more background? What did they come out of? Is it a component set? Is there more to it? What for the love of god are those speaker cones made from?????
I thought they were the Cyberdyne systems model 101 but then I saw the screw leads for the speaker wire.
I searched for the vented and extended pole piece. The phase plug. The screw terminals. Different cone materials. 8 Spoke speaker baskets. 4 into 8 spoke speaker baskets. Old school component mids with phase plugs. Man, I was at it for a while.I think they are definitely a sandwiched kevlar/foam/carbon but definitely not Focal. Eton, SB acoustics? Hard to say. The basket and motor remind me of some of the older Swan Hi-Vi lines, without any markings, anyone's guess.
