Best quality 1000watt amp?

Looking to power an Alpine R-W12D4 wired to 2ohm in a 2.25net ported enclosure tuned to 33hz. The sub is rated at 750RMS but with the peak being 2250watts, and Alpine being known to limit their power and enclosure sizes I think 1000watts is safe as long as I'm not on full knob for a whole drive. Lmk what you guys think. Looking in the 200-300 range. Sound quality is important to me.

Personally I'd look for something that does 1500w at 2 ohm...that'd let you keep the gain down and not run the amp as hard

I have a US Amps MD2D, 1500 @1 Ohm. It is strong but it has no kick like the JLs or the Class AB PPI Sedona, Orion HCCA, even the US Amps 500As. Very different sound signature on the subs. Even the US Acoustics Series2 grays sound better.

heres a solid amp in your buget 1300w at 2 ohms gives you som headroom, like somone said earlier you wont really notice much of a sq diff. I really say what your lookin out for is build quality/durability get something that you can beat on!

Just got their 4K in and it is built like a tank! I think it weighs in at around 18 pounds! granted, it puts out close to 4 k at 2 ohms so a little extra headroom for sure

That's not a nickel on there either, that's a quarter! 24x7x2, it's "old school" huge!
