Would you guys recommend sealing off the bigger open holes?

I would do so and I believe that is standard practice when prepping doors.

I figured. I’ve got some 1/8”ABS plastic I’ll make up some cover plates for them

I've seen plexiglass and sheet metal used for this. ABS would probably be adequate once you throw some deadener on it.

I got around to sealing off the drivers door and getting that speaker in. I’m hoping this will help improve the midbass as I’ve heard the GS60 lack midbass. I’ve already got a few ideas in mind if these don’t give me the output I’m after. Once the rest of the deadener comes in I’ll get some on both sides of the cover
