This is .25" x 12" x 24" HPDE marine grade black plastic. Sort of like ABS, like your aeroport would be made out of.

Building a custom raised top. Piece was 24x12x.25

Cut it down to 19.5 x 8.5. Round over edges on top and corners.

It's pretty good considering I had to use a jigsaw older than I was and duck tape and coolant bottles to hold it down
