Before I joined this forum I rented a house from an east Georgia sheriff. You people are dumb. They literally pull people over cause they are bored. Then look for things to ticket or arrest you for. Facts.

All cops are bad cops. When the "good" cops dont stand for what is right and they took an oath to uphold the law, they are bad cops. Sure you can weed out the worst of the bad cops, but when you have a 20 year veteran with 70 reports against him training new cops, its a systemic issue.

No, of course they dont. Just because criminals dont follow the rules, the people we entrust to protect us shouldn't either? I dont see the correlation. If thats the case, are you for or against nobody following the rules?


How many of the people that have been killed in recent months due to police brutality been involved in situations where the cop had no other choice? Almost none of them. They were either hands up, in handcuffs, or just talking and were killed. There are less leathal ways to deal with criminals that wont comply. The only reason a cop should ever pull a gun and kill someone is if their life is in danger and they have no other option. In all of the cases that have lead up to these mass protests, that hasnt been the case.

The first question: Criminals don't follow rules. Police know this. So to have the police follow specific rules for how they encounter each person is dumb. A police officer has to act and react to each situation as it happens. Each interaction is going to be different. Yes, cops should follow rules but the rules change when faced with threat of bodily harm or death.

Second question: I don't know how many. You don't know either, you were neither the criminal nor the police officer. You don't know the circumstances of each situation. You only know what you have read or been told by the media. A cops life being in danger or other civilians in the area can happen literally in less than the blink of an eye. Maybe for each stop, cops should use sleeping gas on the suspect until they can complete their investigation. How'd that be?
