Ok so i set my gain on my sub amp with a dmm,
but On my amp for my doors (timpano 800@2 ohm) it has a connector and leads for speaker wires. That plug into the amp with 2 pos and 2 ground leads . When setting the gain on that amp do I connect both pos together and both neg together and then set my voltage from those leads? And if so I plan on running two speakers at 4 ohm so would j set the voltage to 56 volts?! Kind of confused. 56 volts seem a lot for a mid speaker amp?

Running 2 prv mb250 ndy 8 ohm speakers.

As long as you have wired the PRVs correctly you should be at 4 Ohms for a pair to a single speaker post on the amplifier

Gotcha but what kind of stumps me is the amp has a plug with leads. 2 pos and 2 neg. But it's a single channel amp. Do I take those 2 pos wires from the amp and the 2 neg wire and splice them together before I connect my 2 speakers to the leads?

So the amp had 4 leads. 2 pos 2 neg. Connect the two pos tog and 2 neg together. And run the speaker in parallel and use those leads as jumper into the pos and neg wiring ? That's what I'm not sure about.

There should be a diagram in the manual or you can call them up.
By what i can tell.. This is a Mono amplifier. One set of Pos/Neg. wiring should work just fine. It bridges internal on the board to one ch. Two set of wires give you wiring options But you should only need to use one Poss, and one Neg. for those two speakers alone on the amplifier/ One ch

You need a 2 ch. Stereo amplifier to run both of your doors.. Or you can run another one of these for bass/ mono in the other door also. This is not a stereo amplifier for Mids and Highs. Its a Mono/Sub amp and a single Ch. at that

Ok well I was told these speakers and amp will match up well, and on the amp its self there is no bass boost or lpf or subs sonic setting only setting there is is a gain adjustment and frequency setting from 100hxz to 1khz to 18khz. I hooked up 1 speaker to 1 pos and 1 neg lead and adjusted the gain a little bit and the frequency and these speakers are loud and crystal clear. So I guess is it okay to use this amp for these?

And yes this is a mono amp but it is a full range at that. So that's why I chose it. Is it still wrong ? My dealer installs custom prv timpano audio on custom doors for shows . So I kind of assume this is right what he told me?

Anyone who takes sound quality somewhat seriously needs stereo sound from their main speakers. There are a lot of musical effects that are made possible by having independent left/right channels.
