ZZP Performance Voltage Booster

is there a reason why though that instead of getting bad voltage dips from drawing too much current from my stock electrical system that im actually getting voltage spikes?
Might be something wrong with your alternator, it could possibly be trying to counter the tremendous draw that it gets from your amp and its going nuts, the regulator could be bad. That would be my only guess.

 
What size wiring?Big 3?

I would recommend all 1/0 wiring and the big 3. It would probably solve your problem, unless something is wrong with your alt. Its only spiking with the sub playing right?

 
2 gauge and no big 3 right now...big 3 was going to be next step cause i dont really feel like wiring all 0 gauge right now as the car is still a lease....you think big 3 would help...and yes the first time i noticed it was while driving down the highway gains set about midway and on the subwoofer control on my HU i was at 15/20....

only spikes while sub is playing

 
And how much current do you expect that to draw?!?!?!?!
I guess i have restrictive wiring, which should lead to current drops huh, plus im running a 2 ohm setup, and 400 watts on a bone stock electrical other then a redtop with not even a .1 in voltage drop at full volume

who gives ashit about some peice of shit stock alternator? if it frys ill throw it away and get a iraggi

 
120stock alt shouldnt get any voltage drops running 400watts specially since its a sony i dont know if its really RMS or just max. That plus it wasnt a constant note
its 400 watts rms, 800 watts max

if it was 400 watts max, my two 12" subs that are rated at 200 watts rms apeice wouldent even move
