wich is the most accurate site to get your speed tested at?

i got 30mb service today but man its all over the place sometimes 700 kbps sometimes 24mb sometimes 5 i dunno wtf //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i think it might be varying in speeds cause me and the roomate are sharing the connection im on wireless his straight trhough but it seems his is more consistent speeds wise

anyone want to suggest me a good wireless router?

i got a lynksys or wahtever its called wrt54g i think but ive heard that net gear is more reliable

Download speeds are highly dependent on which server the file you are dowloading from is, and how fast it's connection to the internet is. Also depends on site usuage, bandwith allowment, as well as many other factors. the 30mb is not a steady assesment of speed, it a maximum possible. That wont happen all the time, in fact most of the time it will be slower then that.
