So basically its a little device that plugs inline with your alternators voltage reference line to make it think the cars voltage is lower then it really is, so it puts out more voltage = more power to your equipment

Check out the video, all tests were measured directly at the battery and its a stock alternator

could someone help me out i'm somewhat confused. Currently i am getting readings of "High Voltage" from my car when i have my gains up somewhat and i've been told this can lead to frying an alternator. Why, would someone want more voltage from their alt.? Only if its not using its full potential?

Is that your car and stuff? If so why do you say your subs are pumping full tilt and in your sig you have no subs?

Having excessively high voltage causes issues, like your lights burn out quicker / etc, but 15.x is safe, its when you get 16+ that stuff starts to go wrong

is there a reason why though that instead of getting bad voltage dips from drawing too much current from my stock electrical system that im actually getting voltage spikes?

Like what i dont understand is with it full tilt you must be getting a voltage drop especially with just a red top and Id didnt look like the big 3 was done...

I have a Redtop, No Big Three, Stock 120 Amp Alternator and 8 Guage Power Wire to my 400 watt rms Sony Amp pushing two kenwood 12's
