Exactly what I was about to say, who gives a **** about your voltage if you dont even have the CURRENT TO BACK IT UP!!!! CURRENT is what you are after, not voltage.........The only thing you can do is upgrade your alternator, something that pushes out more amps.More voltage isn't going to do crap if you don't have the AMPERAGE to back it up.
And BTW, that video is a joke.
13.6 is CRAPPY voltage even for a stock alternator, and 12.5 is pretty weak voltage for a redtop as well.
He said his subs were playing "full tilt", meaning he had the volume up to wherever he sets it to, but it sure didn't sound like a solid beat or tone or anything. It was little kick drum bass that wouldn't affect voltage that much anyways.
It's a waste of money, IMO. If anything, I think it would kill your voltage regulator in the end from having it run so high all the time. Your alternator has a set voltage for a reason.

You have a 200 watt amp and expect the voltage to dip? For christ's sake, get some common sense.
And how much current do you expect that to draw?!?!?!?!Get some common sense and learn how to read //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Because he has discovered how much of an idiot he isOH WOW!!!
400 watts?!?!
Look out now!! You shouldn't be getting any voltage dip from a 400w amp anyways, unless your wiring isn't up to par.
And once again, you avoided ALL my other comments that i stated. Current, burning voltage regulator, set voltage, etc.
Any particular reason for that?
