that would be sweet. What differences are there between old school subs and new school? Like a lot of old school amps are very underrated/durable vs. new amps.Mines simple, not too old skool (90's):
Pioneer P1R (120 dB 5-20,000Hz)
Modified Linear Power DPSQ50 (50W x 4 RMS 0.008% 115 dB 5Hz-350kHZ )
Modified Linear Power 3.2HV (875 Watts 0.008% 100 dB 5Hz-250kHz )
Boston Pro 6.4 (comps)
Audiomobile Mass 2012 (12")
I'd still run this system today if I had it....
Can I hump your leg???I want to run this in my 2006 Mustang GT soon:

5002 @ 8 ohms on my 13w6v2
1502IQ on my Mach5 Audio MLI-65 mids
1502IQ on my Alpine Tweeters
The new subwoofers when made by a company interested in quality are quite nice compared to the older ones but there are very few who are mainstream.that would be sweet. What differences are there between old school subs and new school? Like a lot of old school amps are very underrated/durable vs. new amps.
Whats that missile in the middle???My dream system would be my Eclipse ECD-415, My VLX-400 for a sub, a VLX-200 for mids, and a VLX-50 for tweeters. All ran by a US-X3 crossover. I still need a VLX-200 and a 50 and a worthy car.
I do have other options though.

I give you the Alpine 7909. Still considered by many people to be the ultimate sq deck. You need proof? Ask any nationally placed SQ competitor about the 7909, chances are, he/she is using one in their comp car.Well, considering that with the progression of technology, and the superiority of today's stuff, I really don't have an "old school" dream system. That old junk doesnt hold a candle to today's stuff. Anyone who thinks differently is a nostalgic fool, plain and simple. (if you disagree, show me SOLID proof, not your wishy-washy "well, i think..." bullshit.
